Speaking of, we don't blame you if you just want to use that tequila for a round of margs. Want to go a bit fancier? We love adding a bit of Cointreau to lend some margarita vibes. ![]() Once you've picked your poison, it's time to mix! Arguably the easiest tequila cocktail is Ranch Water it's just tequila, Topo Chico (or your favorite sparkling water), spritz of lime, and you're done. Pour into glasses, adding more ice from the pitcher to each glass as needed. Let sit for 5 minutes to allow for some of the ice to melt and mellow the margaritas. But don't stop there! Tequila reposado, which is aged for two months in oak barrels and is a bit more top shelf, is the best pick for when you need a bit more spice (perhaps for a tequilada!?). Place the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and ice in a large pitcher, and stir to combine. Instead of Gran Marnier, Cointreau, or triple sec, a skinny margarita substitutes some of the liquor ingredients with fresh orange juice or agave nectar.
